The New Latino Boom is the 21st-century literary movement in Spanish in the US, and Chicago is one of its main spots. In this talk, Professor Naida Saavedra will present the main features of the New Latino Boom, as well as the website and book derived from her research. Afterwards, she will engage in a conversation with Carolina Herrera and Anonio Diaz Oliva, representative authors of this movement in Chicago. Moderator: Christian Vasquez
