Enjoy a night of live music from Chicago-based ensemble, The East Loop. The band brings together African American, Middle Eastern, and South American music in their dynamic, original compositions. Come experience The East Loop perform a blend of music traditions including Jazz and Maqam.
Programs are open to all, on a first-come first-served basis. RSVPs not required, but appreciated.
Presented in partnership with Northwestern’s MENA Student Association and held in conjunction with "Taking Shape: Abstraction from the Arab World, 1950s – 1980s."
