The Spanish Language Program is thrilled to bring Prof. Malena Ramírez from Penn State University to hold an interactive bilingual theater workshop, Encuentros y Desencuentros: Mix-ups e improv en la cultura latina. During the workshop we will explore the cultural differences of the Latine world through exercises that stimulate creativity and spontaneity in Spanish/English. Costumes will be provided!
There will be a reception immediately after with lots of opportunities for conversation. Representatives of The Chicago Latino Theater Alliance will be in attendance to share information about their work, their future events in Chicago and how NU students can become involved.
