Please join Northwestern University Libraries, Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications, Knight Lab, and the James W. Foley Foundation in kicking off the opening of Inescapable Truths. This exhibit of artwork attempts to reclaim the legacy of American freelance war correspondent James Foley and acknowledge the universal concerns of journalists who seek the truth. Artist Bradley McCallum will speak about his artwork and Daniel Brock Johnson will read from his new book, Shadow Act: An Elegy for Journalist James Foley. Programming preceded by a reception with light refreshments. This event is free and open to the public.
