QGIS is a free and open-source cross-platform desktop geographic information system (GIS) application that supports viewing, editing, and analysis of geospatial data. This workshop is targeted at new users with little to no GIS experience. QGIS runs on both Windows and MacOS. This workshop will cover the basics of QGIS along with plotting XY data from a spreadsheet. You will need to download the free application here and install it.
