Featuring: David E Victorson, PhD Professor of Medical Social Sciences Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine David Victorson is a licensed psychologist, Professor of Medical Social Sciences, and Director of the Flourishing in Society and Health research lab at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He is Director of Integrative Oncology research at the Cancer Survivorship Institute at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University, and Co-Founder and Executive Director of the young adult cancer support nonprofit True North Treks. His research focuses on the development and delivery of bio-behavioral interventions aimed at increasing mindfulness-based emotion regulation, social connection, nature contact, and engagement in positive health behaviors on health, wellbeing, and flourishing spanning people, population, and planet.
