Hosted by the Buffett Institute’s Race, Caste and Colorism Global Working Group, visiting scholar and artist-in-residence a/nil is a professor and poet from Kerala, and the author of poetry collection The Absent Color, the first book to be published as part of a book series funded by the Race, Caste and Colorism Global Working Group in collaboration with the anti-caste publishing house Navayana. The collection has been hailed by Slavoj Zizek as an “authentic miracle.”
At this event on Thursday, May 16 at 4:00 p.m. in the Buffett Institute’s event space at 1800 Sherman Avenue, join us for a poetry reading from The Absent Color and dialogue on anti-case publishing with a/nil, followed by a reception.
