Spouses and partners of international scholars, students, or faculty at Northwestern University are invited to join us for a Coffee Hour, hosted by the Buffett Institute. This event provides a warm, inclusive space for connection and cultural exchange as families adjust to a new land. Young children are welcome to join their parents. Sign in to the Buffett International Spouse & Family Program registration form to receive our communications. 

At our January 22 meeting, we will gather to share and appreciate the richness of our diverse cultures to celebrate the new year! We encourage everyone to wear traditional or cultural attire—whether it’s a colorful outfit, a special accessory like a scarf or hat, or anything that symbolizes your heritage, such as colors, patterns, or even photos. Embrace the unique elements that represent your culture! We would also love to hear everyone share their traditions and experiences of celebrating the new year in their home countries.
 
Changing rooms will be available if you would like to change into your outfit upon arrival. Everyone is welcome, and we would love to see you there, whether or not you wear cultural attire. Let’s celebrate the new year and enjoy the diversity of our community together!
