Bel Olid is an Assistant Instructional Professor at the University of
Chicago, PhD candidate at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and
visiting grad student at Northwestern. Their experience in language
didactics is broad and varied, including extensive teaching experience
in addition to research. Their work focuses on creating more inclusive
learning environments, and their research provides new perspectives on
how and why non-binary language should be taught in higher education,
particularly in Romance Languages classes.
