Does the use of economic evaluations in cardiovascular medicine advance or impede the achievement of population health equity? Using examples from epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, and implementation science, this talk will make the case that, when wielded correctly, health economic evaluations can help expand access to high-quality care, improve population health outcomes, and advance health equity
