The Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) Student and Academia Sections, in partnership with the UIS Public Health Student Association, is pleased to host IPHA Student Day 2025.

Students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate public health programs throughout Illinois are encouraged to attend to develop their policy and advocacy skills to become effective public health advocates. Last year, more than 120 students from 19 colleges and universities attended the student day activities. Public health program faculty and administrators are also encouraged to attend.

The learning objectives for the day are:

·         Learn about the different types of public health advocacy

·         Apply public health policy and advocacy skills on current public health issues

·         Network with public health students from throughout Illinois.
