Our Woven Being Community Room is a dedicated space within the exhibition for conversation, reflection, laughter, and relaxation. The space, designed to center our Indigenous community, is open to all.
On the first Wednesday evening of each month, stop by and join us for informal conversation and activities related to the themes of the exhibition. Drop-ins welcome and encouraged.
On April 2, multi-media artist Noelle Garcia (Klamath and Northern Paiute) will be taking over the drop-in hours to give us a peyote-stitch beading demonstration! There will be a limited number of beading kits available for those who want to practice beadwork fundamentals along with Noelle; it's also okay to just watch and learn. Bring your friends and join us for an evening of creativity and conversation with an expert beadwork artist!
Participation level – medium, visitors are welcome to drop-in at any time to enjoy informal conversation and activities with others.
