Join us at The Block to celebrate the radiant beauty of Helen Frankenthaler’s artistic experiments.
This afternoon gathering welcomes students, faculty, and community members to be among the first to see Pouring, Spilling, Bleeding: Helen Frankenthaler and Artists’ Experiments on Paper. Enjoy light refreshments, tour the exhibition with co-curator Corinne Granof, and see this transformative gift of prints from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation.
Pouring, Spilling, Bleeding brings Frankenthaler’s experimental works into dialogue with art by her contemporaries, later generations of artists, and other highlights—all drawn from the museum’s holdings and underscoring its role as a resource for teaching, research, and discovery at Northwestern.
Light Refreshments: 3PM to 6PM
Curator's Tour: 4PM
Open House till 8PM
