1. About Club Gymnastics:
You don't need any experience to join club gymnastics, and there are no tryouts. If you want to come, come! The team is co-ed, and currently about half of our team members started as complete beginners. There are coaches at the gym for beginners and experienced gymnasts, and the rest of the team is happy to help you out. We all warm up together, then split up based on experience level and practice separately. Beginners receive more guidance, and practice is run more like an open gym for experienced gymnasts (but there are still coaches there to help with skills). There is no commitment expected, and you can come when you can make it.

2. Practice Times:
Monday/Wednesday - 8:00-9:30 pm,
Saturday - 3-5 pm.
Transportation to the gym (IK Gymnastics in Chicago) is provided. We take Northwestern sports club vans there. Normally, we leave from the SPAC entrance (by the tables) 45 minutes before practice starts and from Cahn auditorium (outside the doors on Emerson) 35 minutes before practice starts.

3. Practice Cost:
Monthly (3 practices/week): $80
10-Pass: $200
One day: $25
These are the prices set by the gym we go to. There are no additional dues to the team. Monthly is a really good deal, but if you don't think that you'll be able to make it 4 times in a month go with another option.

4. Competitions:
We typically go to 2 meets during winter quarter (at U of I, IU, or Purdue, and we might go to a high school in Hinsdale this year). They are super fun! Transportation, hotels, and meet fees are paid for by the club.
