Incoming international students are encouraged to attend one of two upcoming tax sessions hosted by Northwestern’s HR Payroll/Tax Division and International Office.

These sessions will cover important details about U.S. taxation and discuss the requirements for you to be paid by the University. Discussion topics will include:
• The Foreign National Information System (FNIS) and I-9 process,
• Taxes deducted from your paycheck,
• Obtaining your U.S. Tax Identification Number (SSN or ITIN),
• The annual U.S. tax filing process.

Two sessions:
