Buddhist institute in Tibet (Larung Gar in eastern Tibet)
Khenpo Jamyang will be speaking about the place of religion in modern Tibet, including what aspects of “traditional” Tibetan Buddhist ritual and practice are most relevant today and also how religious leaders such as himself are adapting Buddhist teachings to suit present conditions in Tibet.
