"Telling Stories with Maps" — Friday, May 13, 3:30-5pm
This quarter we'll be talking about using maps and mapping tools to tell stories. We will be highlighting two recent courses that made use of maps: "Ancient Rome in Chicago" (taught by Francesca Tataranni) a course where students collaborated to build vibrant and rich virtual walking tour using multimedia authoring and mapping tools; and "Shakespeare's Circuits" a course where students created maps to track the circulation of Shakespeare's works across time and space.
