Graduate students, particularly those with an interest in colonialism, health, and violence, are invited to an open discussion with Nancy Rose Hunt, prize-winning historian of modern Africa and author of new book: A Nervous State: Violence, Remedies, and Reverie in Colonial Congo. Students will be able to get advice on their own research and raise any questions that were not addressed during the Thursday afternoon lecture.
