The Northwestern Native American and Indigenous Student Alliance curated 'Walking through Sand Creek' for the Norris Galleria on the ground floor. It will be displayed from Nov. 21-Dec. 4 with an opening reception at 3:00pm on Nov. 21. The exhibit recognizes the Cheyenne and Arapaho people present at the Sand Creek Massacre on Nov. 29, 1864, as well as demonstrates the lives lost and displaced as a result of the U.S. government's genocide against Native Peoples.
