GSS Research Workshop with Judith Walkowitz

GSS will host a Research Workshop for GSS senior thesis students, faculty, and graduate students with Judith R. Walkowitz, Professor Emerita, Johns Hopkins University. Renowned for her groundbreaking work in cultural history and the history of urban life more generally and on the history of prostitution and sex work more specifically, Professor Walkowitz has just retired from Johns Hopkins University. She has also just completed a year as the Donnelly Family Fellow at the National Humanities Center, where she worked on a new book about space, feminism, and the women’s movement in 1970s and 80s London.
