Professor Deuber-Mankowski’s pre-circulated paper will include a discussion of the concept of Schuld (guilt-debt) in Friedrich Nietzsche’s Genealogy of Morals and Walter Benjamin’s “Critique of Violence,” which will also be made available. Participants in the discussion include Samuel Weber and Peter Fenves.
