Health & Medicine Policy Research Group is an independent policy center that conducts research, educates and collaborates to promote social justice and challenge inequities in health and health care.
On May 18, members of Health & Medicine’s Communications and Policy teams will present a brief overview of policymaking processes followed by communication strategizing, legislator relationship building, and engagement with various audiences. The presentation will also cover a variety of communications channels, including both academic and non-academic media, from research briefs and fact sheets to social media and both online and print publications. The event will conclude with discussion about how to plug your research into policymaking and strategic communications.
