The reform wave in Turkey has ended in a spiral of authoritarianism, and eventually a dragging state of emergency. How did Turkey get here? This conference explores both the disintegration of the rule of law and everyday manifestations of reform, authority and emergency in legal spaces in contemporary Turkey.
