Workshop Description:

Creating an effective teaching statement is an increasingly important part of preparing for the job market. In this workshop, we will discuss the characteristics of an effective teaching statement, work on articulating your argument for teaching effectiveness, and peer review teaching statements. This workshop is the first day of a three-day Teaching Portfolio Bootcamp. If you are interested in focusing solely on your teaching statement, you can register for this workshop separately.
