The HBNU Fogarty Global Health Training Program offers opportunities in global health clinical research training for pre- and post-doctoral candidates from the U.S. and lower-middle-income countries (LMICs), sponsored by the Fogarty International Center (FIC) and several collaborating Institutes and Centers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Participants can work in selected partner sites in Africa, South Asia, and South East Asia. The program provides 12 months mentored research fellowship, salary commensurate with level of training based on NRSA, funding for research support, international health insurance, required vaccinations, visa/passport fees, roundtrip travel to orientation and training site.
