How are film and television projects developed, produced, and distributed for impact, profit, and cultural relevancy? This summit conversation features successful producers and executives who work across a wide spectrum of the entertainment industry. From mainstream Hollywood to independent financing to streaming platforms and international co-productions, the challenges and opportunities for writers, directors, and producers are vast. This conversation will highlight the strategies that the panelists have leveraged to produce exciting, relevant content for audiences locally and globally.
Panelists include: Dan Farah (Ready Player One), Janet Yang (Joy Luck Club) and AJ Christian (Open TV). Moderated by television producer and MSLCE faculty member Laverne McKinnon.
