David McCraw, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for The New York Times, discusses his new book and takes us behind the scenes of confronting the challenges in one of the most turbulent and threatening eras for journalism and journalists in a conversation with Medill Faculty Doreen Weisenhaus and Christopher Benson. The topics McCraw will discuss include global threats to the press, “fake news,” attacks against the Times, and his mic-drop-of-a-viral-letter to attorneys for presidential candidate Donald Trump.
