Health Equity Group and Medical Students for Choice are hosting an event to kickstart the second annual Black Maternal Health Week (April 11 – 17, 2019), founded and led by the Black Mamas Matter Alliance to deepen the national conversation about Black maternal health in the US. We will be hosting a screening of the Fusion documentary Death by Delivery followed by a panel conversation on the state of Black maternal healthcare in Chicago and policy & advocacy aimed at eliminating health disparities for minority women.
