Sharon Ahmad, PhD
Executive Editor
Journal of Cell Science
Sharon Ahmad is the Executive Editor of Journal of Cell Science at The Company of Biologists, a not-for-profit publisher of five journals. Sharon obtained both her BSc (Medical Laboratory Science) and MSc (Pathology and Laboratory Medicine) in Canada, and moved into the publishing world after completing her PhD in immunology at the University of Edinburgh Medical School. Sharon held the positions of Assistant Editor at BioMed Central and Associate Editor at Nature Reviews before moving to Journal of Cell Science in 2007, where she manages the day-to-day running of the journal.
A reception will follow Sharon's presentation. Sharon can answer questions regarding the Journal of Cell Science during the reception. All are welcome!
