The Boren awards seek to help applicants advance their proficiency in selected strategic languages through study abroad (undergrads) and language study & research (graduate students). This award is particularly appropriate for individeuals who seek a career in or around government service. Come hear Boren Program Director Jeff Cary introduce each program and outline the profile of strong candidates. Mr. Cary will also answer your questions about the program.
