Although the lunch meeting has the label of a “Research Cluster Meeting,” don’t be put off: Everyone is invited, not just people involved in the Avant-Garde Africa cluster. We’ll be talking about what the Avant-Garde research cluster is doing and we’ll have a short presentation on the exciting line-up for the May 1-2 Symposium on “Global and Local Strategies of Twenty-First Century African Artists.”
