Prenatal exposures and child respiratory health:  understanding developmental trajectories and outcomes

 

Objectives

- To introduce a paradigm shift in our understanding of lung health across the human life span
- To demonstrate how potential prenatal environmental factors may play a role in fetal programming of the respiratory system
- To illustrate the developmental implications of prenatal exposure timing in altering child lung health trajectories
