In this workshop, we will learn about different strategies of manifesto writing from the SCUM Manifesto to the Frente de Liberacion Homosexual, from Bruce Lee to Black Power, from protest marches to Your Healing is Killing Me.
You don't have to call yourself a writer or artist to join this workshop, you just gotta have something you wanna say.

bio: Virginia is a recipient of the Whiting Writers' Award, the Princess Grace Award in Theatre Directing, and the Yale Drama Series Award, her published work includes blu, The Panza Monologues, and Your Healing is Killing Me. She earned her MFA from the California Institute of the Arts and is the Mellon Playwright in Residence at Cara Mia Theatre.
