Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear the first-hand stories of three
individuals who anticipated spending the rest of their lives in prison. After the
unexpected commutation of their sentences, they have navigated re-entry
challenges and re-engaged with their communities. Our panelists, Michael
Penny (left), Willie Hobson (center), and Renaldo Hudson (right), serve as
ambassadors to the Illinois Prison Project. They have dedicated themselves to
educating the public about the criminal justice system.
This event is co-sponsored by the Health Disparities and Public Policy Program
and the Center for Health Equity Transformation.
