Isabel von Holt will be speaking with Prof. Anja Bandau (Leibniz Universität Hannover), Prof. Kaiama Glover (Columbia University), and Prof. Jamie Trnka (Xavier University) about representations of the Haitian Revolution. Anna Seghers’ literary oeuvre, especially the story „The Key“ from her final work „Three Women from Haiti“ (1980), will serve as a point of departure for the interdisciplinary discussion. The colloquium will be moderated by Benjamin Robinson (University of Vienna).
