Dr. Hani Mahmassani - Director, Northwestern University Transportation Center (NUTC), William A. Patterson Distinguished Chair in Transportation, Northwestern University
Hani Mahmassani is director of the Northwestern University Transportation Center, and the William A. Patterson Distinguished Chair in Transportation at Northwestern University. Dr. Mahmassani brings over 35 years of research, academic and professional experience in transportation systems analysis, travel behavior, network modeling and logistics systems.

Dr. Joseph Schofer - Professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering; Associate Dean, Faculty Affairs, McCormick School of Engineering, Northwestern University
Joseph Schofer is Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Associate Dean of the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University. His research interests focus on transportation and infrastructure policy, particularly performance measurement and management and evidence-based decision making for transportation and other infrastructure systems. Schofer earned a BE from Yale and an MS and PhD from Northwestern.
Mr. John Gray - Senior Vice President, AAR Policy & Economics, Association of American Railroads
John Gray conducts and supervises economic, financial, statistical and cost studies dealing with various aspects of the rail industry. Prior to joining AAR in 2008, Gray held commercial, operating, strategic and management positions at Union Pacific, Southern Pacific, Burlington Northern Railroad, ARCO-Alaska and the Alaska Railroad. Gray also served in a faculty position at the University of Alaska. A veteran of the United States Army, he served as a commissioned officer and was based in Germany for four years.
Mr. Jon Panzer - Senior Vice President, Technology & Strategy Planning, Union Pacific
Jon Panzer is senior vice president, technology and strategic planning at Union Pacific Railroad. He is responsible for all areas of information technology, including application development, infrastructure, and information security. Jon also oversees the company’s strategic planning initiatives as well as network planning and operations.
