Dr. Steven Polzin is a widely-respected analyst and interpreter of patterns and trends in travel and transportation.  He recently served as Senior Advisor for Research and Technology in the USDOT Office of the Secretary. Prior to that he was Director of Mobility Research at the Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of South Florida. Dr. Polzin has worked as a planner for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit System.  He earned his BS from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and his MS and PhD degrees from Northwestern University.
