Abstract: I shall discuss a proposal of an adelic version of open-closed string duality in the simple case of Green's functions. A special case of the proposal is equivalent to the Gauss quadratic reciprocity. This is ongoing work based on a previous work with B. Stoica, S.-T. Yau, and X. Zhong.
