Title: “Arginine Methylation in T Cell Mediated Inflammatory Disease”
Mireia Guerau-de-Arellano, PharmD, PhD
Associate Professor with Tenure
School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences
Dpt. Microbial Infection and Immunity
College of Medicine
The Ohio State University
Faculty Host: Booki Min, PhD
Topic:
The Guerau lab has identified a crucial role for arginine methylation catalyzed by PRMT5 in T cells and inflammatory disease. During the seminar, we will learn the impact and mechanisms by which PRMT5 modulates Th cell proliferation and differentiation, and how it plays an essential role in development of autoimmune and lung inflammatory disease.
