Electron diffraction (ED) based techniques and new instrumentation provide high spatial and angular resolution required to drive forward studies of exciting new materials, In this workshop, we will discuss recent advances in electron diffraction (ED) that enable quantitative crystal orientation, phase, structure, strain, and defect analyses and present state-of-the-art developments in instrumentation, methods, and research applications of quantitative electron diffraction. This will include new approaches to acquisition, data handling, and processing to realize new insights in materials.
