The idea of The Black Seminar is to interrogate a set of issues and questions for Black Studies thoughtfully, from different perspectives and orientations. Our aim is to work through the significance and value of different debates in the politics of Black studies. In this process we hope to exemplify and model engagements with old and new, different and opposing, points of entry to Black Studies.
