Abstract: Deep learnings is a broad family of machine learning based on artificial neural networks. In this seminar, we will present the basics of deep learning and popular models that are proven to be successful in this field, illustrated by a supervised classification problem. TensorFlow, a platform with flexible tools for state-of-the-art machine learning applications, will be used for the implementation of deep learning models (in R).
