The Global Learning Office & Multicultural Student Affairs have partnered together for Black History Month Global Week. Starting the week of February 7, Black History Month Global Week contains a number of events designed to increase inclusion in global spaces and provide support to Black students navigating study abroad.
This even will feature a brief overview on the different types of NU study abroad programs. After this, GLO staff will discuss Blackness abroad and provide tips on everything from haircare ,to receiving stares, to how Blackness may be perceived in different countries. This a safe place for students to ask whatever questions they have about various black study abroad experiences.
This event will take place in the Black House
