Prior to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Putin asserted that Ukraine needed to be de-nazified. What does Putin mean by “denazification”? Where does the history of the Holocaust fit into the current situation? What does it reveal or obscure? Does it matter that Ukraine President Zelensky is Jewish? Why?
