Description:

The Budget and Other Supporting Documents

While the Research Strategy is the heart of the SBIR/STTR proposal, there are many other documents that are just as important! Learn to put your best foot forward on all other required documents, gain a better understanding of the budgeting process and more. This session will tackle all other required documents of a successful submission, including the following:

-Developing your NIH Phase I Budget and Budget Justification
-Writing all other documents (Abstract, Facilities, Equipment, etc.)
-Vertebrate Animals
-Human Subjects Requirements
-Letters of Support

The SBIR/STTR program represents the largest single source of non-dilutive funding. This workshop will serve as a resource for teams interested in preparing an NIH Phase I application for submission in September 2022.

This seminar is part of 5-part webinar series covering key elements of SBIRs/STTRs and how it relates to those at Northwestern University. The talks are open to all Northwestern faculty, post-docs, students and staff.
