Sherman “Dilla” Thomas is an urban historian and TikTok sensation who has been actively preserving and sharing the rich history and culture of the city of Chicago, highlighting its people, architecture, and impact on the world.
Dr. Mary Pattillo is the Harold Washington Professor of Sociology and chair of the department of African American Studies at the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences at Northwestern University.
