Join us for this onstage conversation with Adam Greenfield, Artistic Director of Playwrights Horizons in New York City, one of the most influential and important Off-Broadway and nonprofit theatres in the United States.  The conversation will be moderated by professor and Director of the MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage, Zayd Dohrn.

About Adam Greenfield:

Adam Greenfield assumed the role of Artistic Director of Playwrights Horizons in July 2020, having first joined the artistic staff there in 2007. In addition to stewarding over 80 productions, Greenfield created the theater’s Almanac literary magazine, Lighthouse Program, New Works Lab, Resident Company Program, Perspectives on Playwriting, Guest Curator Program, and Soundstage fiction podcast. Prior to his tenure at Playwrights Horizons, he served as Associate Artistic Director at Empty Space Theatre (Seattle) from 1997 to 2006, and as Literary Manager at La Jolla Playhouse from 2006 to 2007. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and currently resides in Brooklyn with his husband, playwright Jordan Harrison.

Open to all.  Attendees are also invited to attend the pre-reception in AMS 110 at from 5:00 - 5:45 prior to the 6:00pm event.
