The former publishing director of two leading London publishing houses, Richard Cohen edited books by John Keegan, Madeleine Albright, John le Carré, Simon Winchester, Sebastian Faulks, Richard Holmes, and Hilary Spurling.  The books Cohen edited have won the Pulitzer, Booker, and Whitbread/Costa prizes; twenty-one have been #1 bestsellers.  He is the author, most recently, of Making History (Simon & Schuster, 2022), which the New Yorker described as "supremely entertaining....Whatever Cohen writes about he writes about with brio."

Sarah Maza is the Jane Long Professor in the Arts & Sciences and Professor of History. Among her many publications is Thinking about History (2017), an introduction to the discipline.  She will be a fellow at the New York Public Library's Cullman Center for Writers & Scholars next year.
