Jennifer Dickman Portz, PhD, MSW, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She received her MSW from Boston College and her doctorate from the University of Denver. Her research focuses on the development of patient-centered digital health that can be used by older adults, their caregivers, and providers to effectively improve health decision-making, self-management and health outcomes. She is currently a NIA Beeson Scholar. She leads the Palliative Care Cooperative Group’s (PCRC) Digital Health SIG and the Hospice and Palliative Care SIG for the Gerontological Society of America (GSA).
