Berta Rojas, guitar
“One runs out of superlatives when writing about Berta Rojas,” declares Classical Guitar magazine. Rojas’s recordings have received three Latin Grammy Award nominations, and her performances have earned her the admiration of audiences at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall, the Kennedy Center, London’s South Bank Centre, and Dublin’s National Concert Hall. A Berklee College of Music faculty member, she was awarded the National Order of Merit Don José Falcón and holds the title of Illustrious Ambassador of Musical Art for her home country of Paraguay.
